Case Study: Cloud Transformation Journey
The Project
Over four years, a global investment management organization moved teams, applications and core ways of working to the cloud, with the goal of exiting multiple data centers. The migration plan was in place, but people needed a clearer path through the change.
Logicon partnered with the organization’s Enterprise Change Office to design the communication strategy and activation program, helping employees understand what was changing, see their role in it and feel recognized as each migration milestone was achieved.
The Scope
The cloud transformation spanned multiple business units, technology teams and employee populations within a global investment management organization. Each migration wave introduced new tools, processes and responsibilities, while teams continued to support the day-to-day work of a complex, highly regulated business.
The challenge was not simply announcing a migration schedule. It was maintaining clarity, energy and trust from the first team migration through the final wave.

What We Found
The migration needed more than project communications. It needed a sustained activation strategy built around three realities:
We recommended against treating recognition and engagement as nice-to-have additions after go-live. They became part of the migration experience itself.
What We Built
Logicon created a multi-year Change Activation program that connected strategy, communications and live moments of recognition.
The work included:

The Result
The global investment management organization had a sustained human activation layer alongside its technical cloud delivery. Teams received timely, relevant information; leaders had a clear story to reinforce; and migration milestones became visible moments of progress and recognition.
Rather than asking every new group to navigate change alone, the organization built momentum from one migration wave to the next.
