Operations Manager

You work directly with the COO to run day-to-day operations across Logicon. You keep the operating cadence steady, spot bottlenecks before they bite, and drive the internal projects that help a growing firm scale.

This is an execution role, not a business unit leadership role. It suits someone who is organized, discreet and happiest when things run smoothly. You also coordinate recruiting and keep internal team operations on track.

• Partner with the COO to keep the operating cadence steady and teams aligned.
• Find, fix and anticipate bottlenecks in business operations.
• Lead and support cross-functional initiatives, process improvements and special projects.
• Drive business continuity planning, including documentation and risk scenarios.
• Build and manage trackers, dashboards and KPIs that inform decisions.
• Run recruiting coordination: job postings, interview scheduling and candidate communication.
• Coordinate vendors, internal workflows and ad hoc operational needs.
• Keep communication flowing between teams and make sure action items close.
• Support internal communications, meeting preparation and follow-ups.

• 5+ years in operations, project or program management, or business support roles.
• Strong organization; you manage competing priorities on your own.
• Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
• You work well remotely across a distributed team.
• Familiarity with recruiting workflows and tools (ATS platforms, scheduling, documentation).
• Fluency with Google Workspace, Excel and project tools like Asana, Trello or Monday.com.

• Experience in or with aerospace, defense or advanced manufacturing.
